Good value Hazer

So we're upgrading our lighting rig to include moving head devices and multiple par can (LED) and the demonstration carried out showed how important a good Hazer (not smoke machine) is. Can you recommend a good DMX or timed Hazer that can cover the footprint of a 5 piece band set up in Marquee's and would be used twice weekly for 2x1 hour stints. Budget is up to £500 but can a 2nd hand unit (there is a Martin Twin Stage available) be better than a £100 unit based on reliability and running costs.

I used one of these for a show recently, instead of two Jem Technohazes, and was thoroughly impressed. Quiet, fine haze (much finer than the technohaze, which has a tendency to look much thicker ipon expulsion from the machine, though fine once it dissipates a bit).

You may well have already thought of this, but your venue is far from ideal for a haze machine; Marquees are, in my experience (from a summer of putting them up, and taking them down) draughty, and you'll probably see a lot of your haze sucked out. So with that in mind, it might be better to get two smaller machines, which put out a slightly heavier haze, such as the technohaze.
