adamh
Hello everyone, Just curious as to what those silver arrays were called on the Martin Audio stand. I didn't get a chance to find out the product name. They were used to provide the backing track for the belly dancer dancing around the Avo stand tonight at about 5pm if anyone knows what I'm going on about I was quite impressed by the sound of the array and most importantly the size of the array! Cheers, Adam.

adamh
There was only one belly dancer and she was dancing around the Avolites stand on Monday night. I guess you missed out then?! <_<
grahamdking
And Tuesday night, she gave me a torch and a spanner Happy Days Also, I thought it sounded absolutely terrible. Although that could just be a crap CD the belly dancer provided.
adamh
So are you saying the sound quality was poor or the actual track itself was poor? And the LED torch that they were giving away is amazing! Personally I think it puts Maglite to shame in terms of build quality of the LED module and the barrell itself. It will be interesting to find out exactly how long the batteries will last powring 9 LEDs... Adam.
grahamdking
Well I thought the sound quality was poor. But it could be a bad track or just not great speakers. After all it was dodgy turkish music. You're right about the torch. It is brighter than the similar sized maglite. Although it took a little blagging to get a torch and a spanner without doing any of the demos.
pisquee
Probably one of the belly dancers they used at the Avo party on Monday night
niclights
It was difficult to talk, but the cocktails that accompanied made up for it. And the LED torch that they were giving away is amazing! Personally I think it puts Maglite to shame in terms of build quality of the LED module and the barrell itself. It will be interesting to find out exactly how long the batteries will last powring 9 LEDs... Adam.I think you'll find you got that the wrong way round in a few months time. You don't need to worry about how long the batteries might last... :** laughs out loud **:

pisquee
There was three belly dancers at the Avo Party on Monday evening.... There were four on stage on Monday night (although two of them did spend some time dancing on the floor infront of the stage, am guessing one of them was also used at PLASA itself
