LED Screens

Hi

I currently run a production company that concentrates mainly on live events, projections screens, multi camera vision mixing.

I have reached a point where I have money to invest and am not sure weather to go down the sensible route of buying a second home and renting it out, or do I follow my passion video and buy an led screen (flown I think) also 2nd hand. I feel there aren't that many companies that offer the services, ADI YSL etc.

My question is what sort of budget would I need, screen (not to big), trussing to fly it etc. Also does anyone know of the hire rates that this type of kit gets hired out for. (I know there is a 2nd hand one on ebay at the moment.)

I know this is the lazy option to put a message on a forum and I should really research my business plan myself, but any help would be great.

Thanks in advance

Ally

Go for an outdoor screen, if you can rent it out

The market is quite competeitive and there are more LED

suppliers than you think, including us.

I know the screen on ebay, I've used it myself.

we sell new LED panels

regarding hire costs, we hire a 10x7ish ft led indoor only screen

or a little mobile screen for £1500 all in. T

The bigger the screen or the higher the rez, the more money

you can get for it.

You'll need to able to fly and ground support the screen

so a goal post stand or the ski support system

you'll also need training for set up and running of the screen or you'll

need to hire an LED tech

It depends a lot on your customers and how much they will pay
