Updating My Mac 250's

Hey guys,

Basically, I've been advised to re-install/update the software for my macs, as it could be a error in the software. The only problem is...I dont have a Dabs1 thing/Mp-2 or lightjockey, and dont know of anyone around cornwall/plymouth area with one.

My question is, Does anyone know anyone who has one, that I could borrow/go to where it is and update my macs (cash can be involved)

Cheers

Zak

Onn the martin web site you can download the software for free but you will need an interface unit such as the DABS1 or an uploader like the MP2.

As the DABS1 has a list price of around £140 if you have a few units it might be a worthwhile investment.

Cheers for the post John, because I thought that was a bit wierd...the only thing is I've only got the two macs so it wouldn't be worth buying it then it just sitting in a cupboard, does anyone know if stage electrics (exeter) would hire one?

Cheers Zak

I would recommend just calling SLX (or whoever) and asking if they can repair your fixtures - that way if it turns out to be more than simply reloading the code, they already know how to do the other repairs and can offer a proper quote.
