Yeh does anyone know where to get a firewall from for free we tried norton but it wont work so we need one.

I suggest Sygate Personal Firewall.

 

It's completely free and a great piece of software.

I personally think it's much better than Zone Alarm and so far it's sat happily in my system tray and done it's stuff quietly and efficiently. There's also an option to security chek your PC, where Sygate servers try and break into your computer ports - if they succeed, you are advised how to stop other people getting to them. Also, you can backtrace any attempted attacks on your computer and report them if necessary.
