Nick LX
Hi,Just wondering if I connect two movers, such as 2 Mac250+ to a desk, both addressed to the first 13 channels, will they do the same thing? Or if not, how would I do that? Thanks
Bryson
Yep. If they're both addressed to "1" then they'll both do the same thing.* You can even be clever and set the pan or tilt to be inverted so that they "mirror" each other rather than doing exactly the same. *=Assuming they are correctly connected, internally identical (ie: the gobos may differ...), in the same mode......etc etc etc
Nick LX
Thanks for the fast reply. I will have a test tomorrow. Considering they are both the same lights, with the same gobos/colours, then I should get exactly the same. Would the settings for inverting the pan/tilt be in the mover's menu? Thanks
peternewman
If as you say they have the same colours and gobos, then you will get exactly the same as Bryson says. Yes the invert settings are in the menus, I'd suggest downloading the manual for the head from the Martin website, it will show where in the menu they are and explain what each of the four character settings you can adjust mean. Colin
Would the settings for inverting the pan/tilt be in the mover's menu? Thanks Yes, depending which Mac 250 you have you want the PATI option and change PINV (Pan) to ON and TINV (Tilt) to ON. Will be expained fuller in your manual whcih can be found on Martin's web site
