SceneMaster Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 Hi I've got some rechargeable NiMH batteries for a CD playey. The CD player has a rechrge circuit but it says on the back to use only rechargeable batteries. (Ni-Cad)But would the NiMH rechargeable batteries work on this recharge circuit or will I have to buy a seperate charger for the batteries and then put them in the CD player? Any suggestions? :D
Matt Posted April 3, 2004 Posted April 3, 2004 they would charge for a bit, but probably wouldnt charge to their full capacity and the circuit probably wouldnt give enough current to charge them in the way they need to be charged, because of its design. I use nimh batteries on a nicd only charger and they last for about a month in my portable md player, which I use every day on the way to work for about an hour. Matt.
