Shez Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 I could do with getting some of those angle adapters that sit between the top of tripods and the speaker. The K&M 19672 seems like the best bet as it offsets the cab backwards to maintain a sensible centre of gravity.Has anyone had any experiences with that one or with any others? Any advice or alternative suggestions? I know there are adjustable ones out there but I don't think that's really vital for me & I would tend to worry about the security of such fixings. Cabs in this instance are 20KG.
Rob_Beech Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 I've used the 19670 but not the 19672. Great bit of kit, really handy for pointing wherever you want. You have to get your head round which of the bolts to unscrew depending on what you want to adjust or you end up with a cab leaning over to one side. The 19674 also looks interesting but I've not used one of these either. The 19670 IS adjustable. by turning the 2 sections around you get an adjustable amount of tilt, it then means you have to undo the lower screw and turn the cab back round on the stand. A little tricky to get the hang of as I said but it is adjustable and it does work well.
Doug Siddons Posted May 8, 2008 Posted May 8, 2008 As an alternative check out the adam hall tilting top hat http://www.adamhall.com/uk/AH_K--SM707-Adj...ct_27__b--SM707 you'll have to do a bit of woodwork to get it in but a nifty bit of kit
