I am currently using peavey passives, but want better sound and maybe power amps built in. I had considered greatly the Logic system 15 powered tops and 18 subs. Since learning that Sound control are going under, (the only stockists of Logic) I am thinking of alternatives. I require subs and tops, of good build/sound quality for life on the road. jimbo7744 Posted May 3, 2008 Share Posted May 3, 2008 If you were keen on the Logic System cabs and given that Sound Control are in administration, have you thought about contacting Logic? In light of their only retail outlet ceasing to trade, they might be in negotiations with another distributor to the public, or put you in touch with one of their trade distributors who might be willing to demo and sell to you. I really like Logic Cabs, I've only use the IS and Ethos models, but I'm sure their XP series will be just as competent and great sounding. The Ethos again can be ordered as an install version (no handles/casters etc) or for line arrays. Given that they pride themselves on only using quality components, I'd imagine the amps they have selected are equally up to the job and of good quality and robustness.
