saturnx21
looking at the above links you should have no trouble using the section and soldering it up to make "model truss"being a keen modeler as well as being in the sound and light trade I may be able to use the above section or make something similar for you please do get in touch if this may help! cedd
As another avid modeller, my first thoughts were also of the items listed above. However my experience is with the styrene stuff, not the brass. It's very good stuff, jus like an airfix kit to glue together pieces. Although the plastic may be a little brittle for what you're after. I have also in the past bought very cheap kids model tower cranes which are great for pilfering truss-like plastic sections from.
Bryson
I've made it myself in the past. (It was Tas-Stage triangular stuff...bit bigger and easier to model at 1:25 than 30cm stuff!) In the end I made it out of very small wooden dowel, painted. I don't think you'll find it as a standard product anywhere.
Dmx512
DHA the gobo people used to make and market model trussing ...it was etched in a similar way the gobos are made and came in long strips which you then folded to make into box and triangular truss....this was a few years ago but may be worth checking with them...........Dave
