niclights
No sh1t! Pink Floyd in a fixture (ok... the Zepp if we're pedantic!) Very impressive indeed. And awesome programming Sir. So, that's how many control channels exactly? Anyhoo, Mr Beta test ready and at your service :)
Bradpepe
So, that's how many control channels exactly? The fixture has four different protocol modes for different types of operation, but the standard is 70 DMX channels to control the pan/tilt, global and two media layers. The fixture has a built in graphics engine that allow playback and manipulation of various types of media.
Light Console
Now that IS a LED light! I was shocked at how large it was, and loved the last shape it made.

Ben
Well the built in server and preset effects should help with that...
MrPete
I was going to say something sarcastic like I just want more time at the moment but having seen that video, wow... A product like that makes me think what will we be working with in the future! Thanks for sharing the link :)
Jamtastic3
Well a fixture like this was going to happen at some point. Not just to wash backdrops but to visually show shapes. It's like when you have a rig of LED pars. With some of them, the LED's are grouped in layers whereas other pars have a RGB uniform. When you aren't in the optical path of LED pars, they can look interesting yet also bizzare. So it's great the SHOWPIX will be able to be visually impressive in a rig (I guess they realised this with the SHOWGUN). It's a hell of a size though! Andrew C
Huge (400mm across the face?) LED moving head thing with lots of elements that can be animated producing images on the face of the thing. Two thoughts, a) can you light something with it, and b) would you be able to see any of the animations at say 10m or more? Or would it just look like it was changing colour? ceecrb1
I was blown away by their SHOWGUN and now this....... Highend really seem to be pushing the boat out at the moment, and its clear to me they getting things right! Just imagine a lines of those at concerts would give so much effect for the audience yet still be a lighting fixture for the lampie to use.(as opposed to hanging an LED screen and loosing a place to mount a lamp... or equally halving the rigging necessary!!)
