iainutron
Our resident artist wants to project on a transparent screen that will show the image on both sides from one projector.I have seen this effect in shopping centres on opaque glass and at the the PIXAR exhibition where it looked liked a heavy frost type of material. Anyone know of a source for large sheets and even if a specialized product exists? Thanks.
Steve Cavill
Surely a rear projection screen would suffice? Alternatively, you could try something like Makrolon (sp?) with a opaque finish...
Pete McCrea
3M do a film that is designed for this. No idea of the name though. I think it's Vikuiti or something like that. If I was in the office I'd have a look. In fact I was spot on. See Here
peterejones
I'm not going to be too helpful here, but I recently was present at a meeting to decide on a screen material for just this purpose. We had a material that was meant to be both front and rear projection in on e surface and 3 others. Most gave pretty good results, although some discoloured the image slightly (I am being picky). I will try to find out some more for you, but in the meantime, what you need is definately available......
Nick Mawer
You could do worse than look here. http://www.rearpro.com/Products/section3.a...ID=1&S2ID=
Nick S
Anyone know of a source for large sheets and even if a specialized product exists? Thanks. How big? You could just use a 4x8 sheet of plexiglass, an orbital sander, and some 400 grit (or even 600) paper. That's what I've done in the past. You only (obviously) need to sand down one side.
