Steve Cavill
Hi guys, Just looking for some information on items similar to the Behringer BCF2000. Are there any others out the that are good quality? Cheap? Doesn't specifically need to be USB, as I have a USB to MIDI adapter. Any views are greatly appreciated. Cheers,Steve
gav8298
The Behringer is about the cheapest you're gonna get. They're not so bad, Daft Punk use a pair of them on their tour rig! My one at the school works just fine.
peternewman
I've never had any issues with my BCF2000 and indeed a friend was equally impressed so got himself one. Its the cheapest price you'll get flying faders for. Out of interest what is it you don't like about the Behringer one, or are you anti them? :D
Steve Cavill
Its not that I dont like them, I'm all for Behringer, quality kit at low prices. Most of the PA outboard I've had the chance to use is Behringer made and I've never had a problem with it...touch wood! I was interested to know if there were any others in the same sort of price range... The fader console, will however be used for lighting, hence the need for MIDI/USB. Anyone got one going cheap? Got an eye on a couple on eBay, but would be nice to pass the cash to another forum member instead...
peternewman
As far as I know nothing is anywhere near the Behringer in price, both with standard or motorised faders, although you could possibly make something cheaper, using one of the commercially available MIDI interfaces and some faders.
