simploerob
does any one use a RMC-140 w/ tally lights with a se800? does it work well and do you use it with or with out a com system? simon
henny
I mainley use the 140 to gain the preview out that the desk doent have, I use the TLM-702 monitor set for the live/ preview and use the quad out of the 140 on the second in on the first monitor and use the second in on monitor 2 to monitor the feed back from the record deck, I would recomend the RMC-90 it makes mixing a show so much eaiser , just make shure you make up a long enfugh loom. I often find once I have setup I push the se800 back in to its rack and just run with the rcm-90 out on the desk, with a little skill you can mix with one hand with a finger on each source and one on the take. we use our system with the tecpro coms just because thats what we have in stock. but if I was starting from scrach and wasent inerfacing with other departpments I may go with theirs we have made up four cam looms that are made up of 2xvideo(Y/C) 2 x xlr3 audio (one coms, one for tally) 1 x 4pin XLR (12V cam power) somewhere I rember seeing a datavideo product that was like their talk back but also had the comp vid down the same cable.
