woody74
-Flexible or rigid material?-What size?-What's the budget?-Does the light need to pass through, or stop at the material?-Does it need to be flame-proofed?-One light or several?-What wattage light?-What color blue?-Does it need to be flame-proofed? I'm sure I've missed something... -w
David Lee
Are you talking about a cyc? TBH your question is so badly put it becomes meaningless. More information needed. I.e to back light is to position a light behind the subject in order to give depth by high light. White material behind would lead to a cyc being used, and "medium blue color threw" could just about mean anything. Sorry to sound rude, but there you go :)

David Lee
How about rear projection material? Or sharkstooth gauze. Is this going on a stage/ public area then there is a good chance that it will need to be fire proofed. How are you making the radio. Is it a prop? niclights
If it's quite small I would use some sort of heavy diffusion - ie. LEE filter or acrylic plastic (plexiglass) for more permanent. I find local sign manufacturers the best source for plexiglass. For larger areas where this might not be practical or cost-effective, most thin white cloths will do the job. Fire retardency varies between materials. My favourite is rip-stop nylon which is IFR but it's not so common. JC Joel stock.
