Marley Dance Floor Hire

Hello All,

Does anyone know where we can hire some black marley dance floor ? We are in Wolverhampton and need it in July time, also do you know roughly how much ? Its just the vinyl stuff I need.

 

I've Tried Stage Electrics and they dont do it, tried contacting Harlequin direct and they want £900 for there padded stuff (I could buy it for £1200)

I think the missing element is carriage - dance floor is going to need a lorry, if you want something like Harlequin Studio or Allegro - unless the area is small. It's amazingly heavy, as I'm sure you know - so transport cost is significant. £1200, though suggests you only want a small one?

With the quote from harlequin it was £300 carriage and £550 for the floor, its a stage of around 40ft wide and 30ft deep.

Have you tried contacting the theatres in Birmingham and surrounding areas, or maybe BRB or BSA and see if they have anything available they could hire out to you, especially if you only need for a short period. Then you could perhaps hire a van and collect/return it yourself to save on transport costs.

Have you tried asking DanceXchange in Birmingham? They can probably point you in the right direction, at least!
