pritch
No; they're likely to come with Shucko plugs.
Ian1481
No; they're likely to come with Shucko plugs. thanks for the help. Do you know if it is possible to get adapters for them?
Gerry
Make your own from a 15amp plug , a short length of cable and a shucko socket.Or do it the easy way and replace the shucko plug with a 15 amp plug. ;) I've just replaced a number of 15 amp plug with shucko plugs. :) Cheers Gerry
Ike
No; they're likely to come with Shucko plugs.Bit pedantic but they'd almost certainly come with a CEE7/7 which is not a Schuko (CEE7/4) although it will mate with a Schuko socket. See my post here. Personally I'd do as Gerry suggests and cut it off and replace with a 15A.
Ian1481
the thing is..... a european company is performing at a festival in wales and are bringing their own equipment so I can't really replace the plugs. They could just use the stuff in the venues but they need some pieces of equipment that are not available in the venues and I haven't really got the budget to hire the equipment, is it just a case of asking them to adapt their plans or are converters available? boatman
Do you have any 15A plug to 13A socket cables? If so then just buy a few of these.
Chiefy
You can hire adaptors for most scenarios very cheaply from a host of hire companies, I know Stage Electrics have a truck load as I am hiring quite a lot in April.HTH?
estra
Or even some of these (South African plugs are 15a) Ed
Barney
It would be worth checking with the touring company whether their equipment has IEC inputs (eg Strand Cantatas, ADB Europes, etc) - if so, just hire/borrow a suitable number of standard 15A-IEC leads.
