DjMAntas
Hi, I am working in Lithuania with Dynacord Xa. We would like to buy a new P.A. We are thinking about second hand P.A. (Something like Meyer or L'Acoustic). There to find it?
Furryface
Try the following UK based but Europe wide dealers/brokers http://www.bobkelly.co.uk/new/index2.htm http://www.glensmithaudio.com/ http://www.crystalpro.co.uk/
johnhuson
Or a quick search and you would of found this wiki page which lists most of the UK based second hand places, not sure how much use this is to you in Lithuania though.
DjMAntas
But is it save to buy such thing like D&B Q1 from second hand? What do you think? Do you know there to find YAMAHA Ls9/32 in good condition?
Stuart91
such thing like D&B Q1... YAMAHA Ls9/32 in good condition? Both the items you mention are still relatively new to the market. They won't have "worked off" very much of their purchase price yet, so I don't imagine many companies would be willing to part with them for huge savings. However you may get lucky on some ex-demo kit or returned stock. The best "bang for the buck" is probably found on older systems. D&B C series, for instance. Large format analog desks are cheaper than ever. It's possible to assemble a very good, very rider-friendly system if you shop around. But it's not reasonable to expect to get the latest and greatest at knockdown prices.
Rob_Beech
I don't fully agree. An LS9 really shouldn't take more than 9 months to pay itself off. And Q1 which has been around for a number of years should have had more than enough time. at £2000 per box and £25 a day on average it doesn't take that long. There is of course much more to look at. The company will have alot of overheads so you can't possibly take 100% of this, and there are other factors involved. The company has to have a client base for the work. But when they do, what would there reason for selling it be? I do agree though that older systems still offer great value, and nobody can deny that alot of them still match the sound quality of alot of newer systems, even though the boxes tend to be a bit bigger. C4, FLASH, W8, KF850, all old systems all very very good. Rob
