musht
http://www.ukslc.org/forum/index.php?topic=2291.0 As for control, its the same with LED pars, lites are cheaper than control at moment as channel count rises. Behringer LC2412 runs out of channels on either pretty quickly and programming a scan on a manual desk you wouldn`t want to do twice. Enttec dongle and choice of software,MagicQ personally, with any PC you can scrounge to do the job is really cheapest option currently. DMX master , 3rd hit on google: http://www.thomann.de/gb/stairville_dmxmaster_i.htm Its branded under various names and there is some discussion of it here, all not very flattering, it sounds a bit of dead end TBH. smalljoshua
I have both a LC2412, a DMX Master and two Smart Scan SSC2's, both of the controlers are horrible to use with the lights my reccomendation is Sweetlight this is what I also use The Software is free from here and the Hardware Avaliable from terralec Here, Here and Here. The SSC2s have 6 ChannelsPanTiltResetGoboColourShutterDon't hold me to the order of those though. Josh
Joe Bleasdale
follow this link the desk fetured should do more than you want for a reasonable price. www.terralec.co.uk/dmx_lighting_controllers/ilead_controller/17504_p.html also the controller will control a smoke machine and a strobe if needed. sweet light is good but in my opinion is harder to program and use, but thats my opinion.
