Daslight Gold Fixture Library

I have recently bought a Daslight Gold but my 4 channel Soundlab GO17S lights are not in their library. I have tried adding the fixture through the scan library but with no success. Has anyone any experience using Daslight, I could do with some help. All my other fixtures that are already in their fixture library and all work fine.

ok I have G017S scanners also and have just updated the data in the ssl file. I cant post the file to this forum, but if you give me your email I´ll send you the libary file.

 

 

 

However the G017S is in the library in a very basic form ie colours and gobos not defined

 

 

 

it is under Neo Neon folder, and then SRL folder, it is called the SRL 114 Diamond scan.

Another tip the G017S scanners have reversed DMX settings to the daslight box,

2 options either make up a crossover polarity DMX lead, or open the circuit board up and swop the red and black wires in the molex plug. just apply pressure to the metal exposed part of the pin then gently extract complete pin (remember to do this to all scanners).

 

Tip #2 if these scanners are new version, remove grill plate over the fan to improve air flow, I have also drilled many holes in the lamp plates to improve cooling. without this modification the lamps have a very shortened life.
