sam.henderson
Guys, Tyring to get a new Mag light (causemine was pinched in the last theatre I worked in) and there are loads for sale on the internet but none of them seem to have holsters/ holders to hang it off your belt. I am prefrebly looking for the bigger D-Cell one. I know you can get them cause I've seen loads of Ushers, LX Guys, Sm's with them. Thanks for any replies Sam

Bryson
Watch out - the 2 D-Cell maglite isn't much brighter than a 2 AA cell one, and also doesn't sit in the beltloop too well, either. And while we're on the subject, you could get one of these if you got an AA cell one. And it beats the pants off a 2 D-cell, at about a quarter of the weight and size. James C
Here are a few options - holster for AA, holster for 2D, or my weapon of choice - a "Pock-its", that holds my leatherman, 2AA Maglite, Voltstick, 2 spare batteries and a pen. I seem more likely to put things back when they all live in the same place. I no longer deposit my tools on every possible work-surface, radiator and cistern in the building! Stu
Sam, If it's of any use you can quite comfortably carry a Solitate or Double AAA Maglite round your neck on a lanyard, I think most of them come with a little ring (0------0) so you can attach onto a lanyard - I know it's not a Double D Cell, but one of them are a bit overkill Stu
the kid
I've got the AAcell one with a 'flashlights friend' I'll try to find a picture but it goes round the maglight and has 4 bendy legs so can be put on any thing

Guest lightnix
I once made a really neat tool belt out of an old ammo belt I picked up for £1 at a local surplus store. It took a little work with a needle & thread to make some of the loops the "right" size, but it worked really well, until someone nicked it, that is

Guest lightnix
Forgot to mention a company called Niteize who make a number of Minimag accessories, including headbands, pouches, clippy things and a fibre optic extension. Hope this also helps.
Bob in Derby
and a quick mention for 7DayShop I spend far too much money with them on things "that'll come in handy!" Always done me proud in the past for all things "maglitey" (and printer cartridgey for that matter) ... does adding "y" work for all words... must investigate
