Ken Coker
Dear All I'm probably the last person on earth to discover this, but Google Patents seems to be a useful source of research material for those writing essays and dissertations on technical topics - and for those trying to put off other work: Vari*lite or Strand Lighting Being two useful search terms. Ken Coker
Frankly, in many an undergraduate paper a reference to any patents - US or otherwise - would be welcome.....in fact, any references at all would be good. As I'm usually on my way to or from the Children's Hospital, watching people move pieces of kit around is oddly relaxing.)
dbuckley
Unfortunately it's US patents only though Hmmmm.... Link to the European Patent Office, which has a search facility. For the USA, I prefer to use the USPTO site directly, but it annoying only works for me using 1nternet 3xplorer; Firef0x wont show the images... probability my setup, I know... Tom Baldwin
Mike Wood's website also has a patent search facility, which is restricted to lighting.
