StevieR
By all means, use other company's contracts as a source but please don't go plagiarising - its just rude! Use them to pull together good suggestions, then add bits you've already thought about and then put it all in your own words. Be sure to make the language clear and uncomplicated to avoid confusion and arguments over misleading terms. It is also a good idea to have a lawyer look over this and alter parts appropriately. This will ensure that what you are trying to get the customer to sign is enforcable under current law. This is what we did and the guy did make some very good points that we did not think of. StevieR
mine is nearly done linky. just waiting on the solicitor the verify. I trust you do the same. am I missing anything? It gets a little 'wordy' at times and could be a little confusing for Joe Public. Under the Unfair Contract legislation, consumer contracts must be written in plain, easy to understand language. Here's a link - Unfair Contracts Note that the rules for business to business contracts are different. Steve
