Alcora 12/14 desk outputs

We have at work, 4 strand Temtus Dimmer packs (Old style) and a slightly newer Zero88 Alcora 12/24 desk with both analogue and DMX outputs,

2 of the dimmers are on their last legs, and we are looking to replace these 2 shortly as funds dont permit a full replacement of all 4,

My question, will the alcora run both analogue, and DMX outputs together happily, ie 2 dimmers on analogue, and 2 on DMX (with appropriate addressing), or not, the only google info I found says the alcora is only DMX, whicxh ours definatly isnt.

The reason for DMX, is if we were to upgrade the other dimmers and desk later, old analogue wouldnt be much use, and (although not looked too much indepth yet) DMX and Analogue units seem to cost more than one or other.

Yes. The analogue outputs are in 'parallel' with the DMX outputs.

I thought that, but the alcora, or the tempus must be able to do both, as its definatly a Alcora/Tempus setup.

I'm 99% sure that the Alcora will only output +10v analogue signals, the Tempus will only accept -10v control. In this situation you can either use a seperate convertor box to change the +10v to -10v (not that easy to come by) or control the dimmers via a demux that can output -10v.

Just worth mentioning that Strand dimmer racks handle analogue control is their own special way. They use a 0 to -10v scale rather than the more standard 0 to +10v that Zero88 and others use. May cause issues.

Anyway the new racks will be DMX, so wont be a problem.

Yes Zero88 did a -10v output conversion for the Alcora, I've seen it listed in suppliers catalogues.
