heya guys fixed the oby today so have 2 fully working obys and a spare still, the magnet seems to be half missing and not quite in the right place, it was half way through the whole, so I just took the old colour wheel out on the spare and put it in the oby and works perfectly, also was good because I had a good cleanup of all the optics and got rid of that horrid dust!!

any about the mojo scans, I have the Mojo Scan I also but my wheel can move in both directions on mine, o well, too many DMXs lights to prepare (PS I dont usually use Mojo Scans for a show before anyone asks).

Wizard of Oz musical soon so I need my greens and blues etc.. so should have a few nice movers and scanners going for it, of course along with our generics... its great being school deputy stage manager!!

Many Thanks

Jack

hey everyone, first time user so please be nice ;) anyway... at the moment im looking to repair two of our intelligent (haha) Oby-3 for an upcoming show we are doing, all seems ok on one, and the other has one problem, when they first turn on, as you would expect they go through their boot sequence, only thing is on the faulty one, the colour wheel seems to continue spinning and does not stop, I replaced one of the circuit boards attatched to the Colour wheel, of which I think is a sensor board, as there is one identical to it by the gobo wheel and one near the lamp housing, but I still have problems with the colour wheel not stopping, everything else seems fine though..... testing through DMX aswell everything works perfectly apart from the colour wheel, and did a demo on the fixture and still the same problem, so anyone have any ideas??Many ThanksJack Wilson

Good day Jack,Regarding the fault on your OBY 3, we have experienced the same fault. We found that the sensor was NOT the fault, but the pcb at the bottom of the OBY's "U" arm, to be defective. Hope this helps
