Changing input Gain on Camco Vortex with Nexo PS15's?

I plan to use a pair of Nexo PS15's with a pair of LS1200's for an outdoor gig.

I am fully aware that this system is not designed for outdoor gigs but was wondering if it would be advisable/ok to change the Input gain from the recommended 26db to 32db in order to achieve a little more volume?

I suspect that I am showing my complete ignorance and that I should be changing the controllers setting from -6db to +6db but I'm not certain.

I don't think a Vortex is powerful enough to do an LS1200 any damage so long as you watch the clip lights!

Also, the PS15s should be weatherproofed sufficiently enough to use outdoors (but not in the rain!)
