hehe. maybe I should *build* a 1000A ceeform. thats a lot of copper...

CEE17 connectors only go up to 125A so you'd have few uses for a 1000A Ceeform. And you'd probably need more brass than copper to build one...

Oh and another thing: Surely electrical power was never measured in horsepower anyway

in the world outside of theatre, electric motors were often rated in horse power,as was alot of the control gear

Okay the deal is I have an awful memory so if I don't write stuff down then I won't remember it, hence I am going to make an insert for my toolbox.

Back to the original question; how about your home address and phone number? Could also be useful for those of us prone to falling into the pub on the way home!

I quite like the idea of calling up some 1HP source fours on a plot.

;)

Very good!

I find that Tega is a useful place for stuff like this - have a browse over to their 'technical' section, and then to 'lighting' - bits and bobs like Socapex wiring, DIN wiring (Strand, Pulsar, Z88 etc.), DMX and all sorts. Don't know what their lighting bits are like yet, never surfed over that way.

How about XLR to 1/4" jack, insert leads?

I always remembered Tip = Send, Ring= Return for Insert Leads

and most conform to this standard
