MAC 600 Help please!

Hi,

I have a Mac 600 which when powered up remains stable for around 5 minutes but then 'judders' as if it is trying to pan and tilt but cannot move? As it only occurs after a time I thought it may be a heat issue but as I am not familiar with repairing these fixtures I now have no idea what to do. Any help would be appreciated. We do not have any budget to send the unit for pro repair otherwise I'd be much happier doing this! Thanks in advance.

Is it displaying an error message?

Is it connected to a console?

What software version does it have?

May be the pan/tilt belt(s) slipping in side?! How new are the lights? Sometimes the belt need tightening up after a few uses from new.

During the first five minutes of power up is the lamp on? Also is the unit juddering when it should be stationary or is it juddering when it should be moving?
