AT LEONIS I LASER DMX CONTROL

Hi,

 

I've had an AT - LEONIS I laser for a while now, not sure if anyone has heard of this make or laser before, anyway the laser has 10 channels of DMX (the DMX channel information is in the link below).

Basically I've been trying to teach myself pc-DMX control, which I'm coming on with quite well, however this particular fixture has been causing no end of grief.

 

Firstly to control it by DMX you turn all dip switches on, except 1 and 10. Meaning it has to go at the start of my universe

 

Secondly the laser get interference when controlling other fixtures in my rig

 

Third and finally I use a piece of software called DMX-control (don't know if you are familiar or not) in which you have to create your own control interface for your fixtures, however having never controlled a laser by DMX before I'm finding it difficult as to what types of control facilities to use e.g. sliders, drop downs, command buttons, option boxes, X-Y pads etc. for the different functions e.g. roll, draw, pattern etc.

 

If you are able to answer any or all problem areas I have mentioned I would be much obliged.
