Gobo Help

Hi,

 

Just a few questions about gobos really:

 

Does anyone know what metal the DHA Standard gobos are made out of?

 

Can they be made out of Anodized Aluminium?

 

If I had a DHA GH33 Gobo Holder, What sized Gobos would I need to buy?

They are made from hard rolled stainless steel.

 

GH 33 seems to be an M size holder for a Strand Quartet.

 

In order to be sure, measure the diameter of the circle provided for the gobo. It should be 66mm for M size or 86mm for B size.

Just had a quick look in the DHA / Rosco gobo catalogue and as Just Some Bloke said it's a size M for a Strand Quartet.

 

It looks like it could work for some other Strand lights but the size M is not recommended, they are - Hilite 23, Patt 23/23N and Minim 23.

Thanks so far. The guy at school who is making them for me wants to know a few extra things which I don't know. I would do the research myself but our four Strand Quartets (22/40) are in rig and we need them for the next show.

 

So...What temp. (in degrees Centigrade) does the lamp get up to? Also, How far does the gobo sit away from the lamp?
