Beaky Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Im just about to restore and modernise a bunch of coemar brios and any info on them would be useful or maybe you have some proping up the corner of your workshop etc? first and foremost I need info on the protocols it uses for control? But absolutly anything would be of use, I realise these things are best part of 20 years old now but I still want to make them live another life thanks
Beaky Posted May 1, 2007 Author Posted May 1, 2007 I cant believe that nobody has any info on these, all you old fossils out there come on admit it you have them hiding in your shed and visit them late at night dont u?
Tomo Posted May 2, 2007 Posted May 2, 2007 Info on control protocols? Those were proprietry then, and out-dated rapidly once DMX became the standard. The only people who might have that information will be Coemar themselves.Drop them an email/give them a ring, see what can be dug up.
Beaky Posted May 2, 2007 Author Posted May 2, 2007 talking to Coemar seems to be a waste of time, ive tried a few times and cant get any sense out of them. I figured that the protocol might be one of their own but wondered if anyone knew what controllers ran them or any dead one or parts about anywhere. My intention was to make some new boards to run them normal DMX as they are hardly the most demanding or complex light in the world? cheers
