Smoke Machine Hire

Hi all,

I'm returning to my past school to help with their annual hard spell evening, unfortunately I called in last week (whilst none of the current technicians are around due to school holidays) to see what state things were in...I couldn't believe my eyes :D out of the 24 channels on the 4 dimmers (strand act 6) 13 channels were missing fuse holders...luckily after 3 hours of scavenging I managed to find 8 of them...only another 5 to go!!

 

I then started patching the dimmers only to find that the tallescope wasn't to be found and that a least a quarter of the bulbs had gone...luckily most were positioned on the stage so nothing a ladder and £150 couldn't fix. I then came to the smoke machine which I had persuaded the head teacher and the head of drama to buy (they wanted to get a £20 one from argos...I thought differentely...we ended up spending about £60...they said thats all the money they had ). Upon closer inspection the smoke machine seems to have been left on for too long and has overheated and doesn't want to start working again. Unfortunately for the hard spell I really need a smoke machine that can be programmed into the lighting desk and be used as a stand alone machine as well...and because of this I was wondering if anyone (in the Manchester/Stockport area) has a smoke machine that I could borrow (very unlikely)/hire(more likely) for a couple of days next week (Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th April).
