Sam_Lowers Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Hi All, Just a quick question. Do any of the wyg users out there know how to draw custom scroller reels? I thought it would be the same as making split gel, etc, but cant find how. I know the colours that are going in but I would like to produce some renders to show my director the exact colours. CheersSam
b1nuzz Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Use Library>Edit Colour/Gobo Lists to edit stock scroll or to create custom scrolls. From this screen you can put what colours you like in there.
gareth Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Create a custom colour list (from the Library menu) containing a list of the colours you want in your scroll. Then select the fixtures that you want to add the scroll to, navigate to the scroller properties, and select your custom colour list from the drop-down list. Edit : Oops! Sorry, slow typing!
Sam_Lowers Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 Cheers Guys. Turns out to be nice and easy! Just working out putting custom gobos into moving heads, not to hard either. CheersSam

For anyone that is interested; From the Library menu, choose Edit Colour/Gobo Lists. In the Show section, click Custom.Click Add.Enter the name of the new list.Enter the number of slots on the wheel or scroll.Click OK.Click on the slot you wish to edit.Click Insert Colour, or Insert Gobo, or Insert Prism. Make sure if you are inserting different types of media into the same list that this is actually possible for that fixture or accessory.Click on the item you want to insert and click Select.Repeat for the remaining slots. To reorder the items in the slots, click on the slot and click Up or Down to move that item to a new position. To erase a colour or gobo selection from a slot, click Remove. The slot returns to the default selection of OPEN.Click Close when you are done creating lists.
