gengscu Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Hi there I been searching the web of where to buy an outdoor stage. I can find 100s of people wanting to hire me 1. I need to by them tho Can any body help Thanks
Simon Lewis Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 I been searching the web of where to buy an outdoor stage. Do you require just a stage, such as this system, or a roofing system? Both the examples given here are from the Total Solutions Group, who I'm sure will make a system to almost any size you want.
StevieR Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Another manufacturer to look at is Prolyte. Their system is very modular with standard stage sections and a roof system that is made with standard truss sections; giving you more flexibility for your money. I know that Stage Electrics has sold some of these systems... Steve
Trundle Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 I would say Stage Electrics or Terralec sell those square sections in different sizes that you can put together and use, my school has one but it depends how big you are looking. Tom
Matt Riley Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Some other major staging manufacturers are topdeck, and litedeck. If you want to buy a modular system, the first port of call is often the manufacturer. If you don't fancy going down that route, then thomann sell a system which seems ok. Regards, Matt
zonino Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 the litestructure systems are very flexible (in my experience of them anyway), I've used the lite structure stages that Tega in Hull have, very nice IMHO
Dave_NA Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 And of course there is always Milos. http://www.milos.cz/ If your interested in their products send me a PM and I will pass on Glens contact details. He is the UK distributor for Milos.

Jivemaster Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I suspect the OP is looking for truckmount, am I correct? The really good truckmounted stages are fabulous pieces of the touring showman's engineering and art all rolled into one.A fully levelled hydraulically raised and extended roof with power driven trussing for Lx etc. Prob to contact the Showman's Guild or similar or one of the big theme parks would locate some suitable design engineers and fabricators. Beware cheap trailer modifications as the basic artic trailer is deliberately sloped front to back so the stage is tilted left to right. After you have modded the trailer it may have to be replated and tested at an VOSA MOT test place for trucks.
