willbrad Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I'm having trouble getting a component signal into my Panasonic AG MX70. I have carried out the set up to ensure that the input selector is set to YPbPr setting for the right input number, but I'm getting nothing out of it.... anybody got any ideas??
browna Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Hi, Just a couple of ideas, that may help: - Is the power of the system or any other equipment on?- Are the cables connected properly?- Has the source been input correctly?- HAS THE FADE BEEN APPLIED??? (Remove Fade) Hope this helps! Alex
eviljohn2 Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Also look for whether the machines are confused somewhere about progressive or interlaced scan. Start with both going for interlaced for best compatibility. :)

eviljohn2 Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 I'd also guess that it doesn't. I'd probably start with composite all the way through to get it working and then increase the quality of the connections as you go. :)
