Just having a quick look at the Clay Paky page they go a little futher than just white.

 

It is a good idea because you can customize your kit - especially for the install side of things.

 

Have a look if you want! (moving heads, then Alpha range)

Maybe I'm just in need of more coffee, but the Alpha page just shows their standard line, and its gobo-and-color options.

If you click on a specific fixture, it displays http://www.claypaky.it/products/alpha_colors/Bt_bodyColors_EN.gif below it. Click on that and it will give you a pop-up window to colour your virtual lantern.

Martin have supplied fixtures with full camoflauge casing before. Think Disney land. I don't think there is a single fixture there that is black.

for example ETC have produced some bright red Source 4s.

Why? They'd stick out fairly badly in most places!

Think retail spaces...

I know var-lite will produce casings from a pantone colour reference, so thats pretty broad, not just your standard RGB!
