Ben Lawrance Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 Dear All Blue Roomers, I was lucky enough to be given some Zero Betapack 1's (two of them in fact) from a friend who has no need for them any more. They have analogue input (8pin Din) but I have a DMX desk. I can't controll them!! I have seen that Zero also do a DMX input kit for them. "oh goody" I said, in relief to know that they would proove helpfull instead of collecting dust. When I found out the price of them I almost swallowed my cheewing gum. £165 per kit (and I need two) Now, it says RRP. Does that mean in real selling terms that I would pay less (I really hope so) Can someone suggest a place that sells them for less? If not, they will be colecting dust. I know I could buy a Demux, but still, the price of those is not brilliant. RgdsBen

Brian Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 Someone is certainly rebadging it. I've found 4 different names on the same bit of kit so far.
Angelic Posted January 24, 2004 Posted January 24, 2004 It's been rebadged all over the shop - mind you, I ordered one yesterday and currently await its arrival!
