mattw Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I have got my self a second hand tenohaze but it came with no remote. Question is can I make something up to do the job? Im a dj and want to be able to set it and leave it to it, ideally I would like to be able to set the duration of the burst and intervals between them like I could with my old little chauvet smoke machine and fc4 remote. I have a DMX to analog converter that I use with my strobe but don't really want to have to use this as it wouldn't be ideal when everything is set up. I believe it has a 0-10v output(?) and read on here after a quick search thats how the hazer works. The hazer also labels pin 3 as 10v and after a bit of experimenting I still couldn't get any output. Is it a possibility to hack up the fc4 remote? Any ideas are welcome. Cheers Matt

I don't know where I stand with sharing this info so I won't forward any of the files on there, but I hope it helps you to know the info's available. Sorry I'm not helping more. I suggest you ring Jem/Martin for info should you need it.
tokm Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Come on chaps... there's been a thread about something very similar to this recently.. actually its still active now. Lazy £"$£"$£ ;) http://www.blue-room.org.uk/index.php?showtopic=19001 All documents that I & other members can get our hands on have been posted on here, also a few articles on UKSLC etc. Basically I've been having a a play with the remote to. Same problem as the o/p's having.. Nothing happens when you connect the two logical pins together through the demux. I've promised to report any findings, so have others & if you find anything out yourself in terms of bodging a remote or getting the unit to run off DMX, please post. Mods - maybe merge this thread with the one I started about magnum800s/technofogs? Tom
