JimWebber
Hi, I've just got a quick question please. I intend to replace the battery(ies?) on a Sirius 48. I am more then happy with the "mechanics" of doing so, and am quite prepared for the fact any cues will be lost. However I would just like to confirm that whilst the battery is disconnected, the operational software will not be lost - I'm assuming it's safely on an EPROM somewhere? Thanks in advance! ianknight
You should be ok Jim, the battery keeps the RAM running with patch data and the show programmed and some of the options - once you've swapped the batteries (one on each processor card) do a "Clear All" in SuperUser to reset the desk to defaults. JimWebber
Thank you Ian! I was fairly sure, but just wanted to make certain! Jim
