luvvypmcd
I have to make knockwurst sausages for Allo Allo. They are required to be cut up on stage and should either contain a portrait of the Fallen Madonna etc etc or be empty. Papier mache over kitchen roll middles was my first thought but I'm not happy with the look or the potential 'cuttability'. Any suggestions?????? Thirdtap
'loWhat about large pipe laging? Might save time on the make as well.
luvvypmcd
That's a great idea. Thanks
w/robe
If they are only being cut once, in half, then you could have a foam tube covered in lycra or cotton jersey and painted then velcro the 2 halves together. The knife going through the velcro will open in and make a 'cutting' noise and you only have to make 1 not 1 per performance. I'm afraid I always go for the sewn rather than stuck method of making anything, thats the difference between a costume person and a prop person. TOO SLOW
