J Pearce
How long is a piece of string? A CCT minuette profile weighs 2.2kg, some 5k fresnels are in excess of ten times that. A Patt 23 weighs 3.2kg, a Strand Cantata profile weighs 12.8kg. We need more info on roughly what lantern's weight you desire to know. (ie 500W, new/old, wide/narrow etc) [edit]beaten to it... Tomo
Which one do you want?It varies by rather a lot - Source 4 (7kg to 10kg), Cantata (5.8kg to 12.8kg)The Strand Quartet Fresnel is only 3.1kg If you need to know the answer, then you have particular lights in mind.If you don't have particular lights in mind, then you are asking the wrong question. Edit - too slow!

Jivemaster
A set of bathroom scales will give you a better idea than any guesses or posts on here. If you are trying to plan for future jobs then this is where the manufacturers data sheets come in handy.
