Ynot
Came across this one on Ebay - presumably a serious sale, though can't see anyone having 200 knob-less lanterns, even if they were identifiable...! Anyone see what they're from??? Just checked his other list....Also has a couple of boxes of Strand shutter blades that someone may find useful..... Ynot
Well, Kirkcaldy is the largest town in Fife....Yeah - noticed that (which is why it's NO surprise) but I just couldn't see what they would fit.... :)
gareth
They look like Cantata parts to me ...
Ynot
They look like Cantata parts to me ...Do they?Which part? I'd thought they'd be a trifle small.....
gareth
If they're 6mm thread, I'd say they're probably lens lock-offs. The lock-off knob for the rotating gate looks similar (cylindrical knurled knob), but is smaller.

Now you say that, I had another look.Think the perspective in the pic threw me a bit...They could very well be Cantata focus knobs....I had them as almost thumb-screw size.... :)
Richard Bunting
Uh Oh, anorak time !! I do believe it is a CB/0D29928 which is the rotating gate lock off knob. You're not going to see the likes of these again, so it might be time to corner the market ? You may recall that the focus knobs on Cantata have an internal thread rather than an external 'bolt'. gareth
Y'know, I did wonder initially whether they were gate lock-offs, but I thought a 6mm thread seemed a little large for that hence my guess of lens lock-offs. (Also temporary amnesia concerning the thread arrangements on a Cantata lens lock-off - well, it's been quite some time since I've had one in pieces!)
