mal421
I really should get out more but :I have found loads of information on the www about speaker enclosure design but one thing I am yet to find is how having more than one loudspeaker in a box effects things like Resonant Frequency , box volume , porting etc . What I have is a pair of Eminence Beta 8 and would like to use them with a horn in a wedge monitor .I have all the information I need to build a box to contain one Beta 8 and be able to calculate the porting etc but not for two speakers in the same box . Thanks Mal

ChrisTS
hi there, eminence have design software that lets you plan everything, I've used the demo, played around with it and u can add as many speakers in a cabinate as you want etc and I'm guessing it will tell you all the relevent info about porting and frequencys... I've seen it sold at Thomann and the demo is on their site (I think you can purchase it form them too...) HERE hope that helps CheersChris
Rich
WinIsd is free software which lets you simulate cabs with different drivers. It will indicate correct porting and box volume, and give you a graph of the frequency response. Loads of info about WinIsd on speakerplans.com/forum, just search for WinIsd, find the program using google. Rich
