tom_the_LD
Does anyone know of any lighting software similar to Horizon that is cheaper? For those who do not know - horizon is some lighting software which is what I would call a virtual lighting desk but not. What it is is a channel screen with the channel numbers 1 - what ever the user wants. The user then can set levels on these channels, record these into a cue list and then run the show so it is just like a lighting desk. Effects can also be created etc. also has moving head support as can be seen from screenshots below Horizon uses DMX out which is also what I need I am NOT looking for something like visual DMX which you cant run a show with if you have generics like I do - and if you can I havent figured out how! send me a pm if you want screenshots because I cant figure out how to put them on here
Ben Langfeld
Take a look at the FAQ or the Wiki. There's loads of stuff about this. Try Freestyler for starters. In fact, I've just noticed that you've already contributed to a topic on this very subject not long ago.
