nickatcolbayns
I work at a school and although we have a Jem Techno-fog, its knackered. I'm all up for getting it fixed but apparently its cheaper to just go buy a new one rather than getting it sent off for testing and mending. (schools wasting money? who said that!) I'm not that up on the technical side of foggers/hazers so I thought I'd ask you guys! we've got about £200 to spend and would like the possiblilty of linking it up to our lighting desk (a FatFrog). so any ideas on whats best to get? thanks in advance for your help! LDODD
check out the Antari range. They're pretty cost-effective, reliable and not "far eastern" in any way. Good quality gear.
nickatcolbayns
Thanks Luke, I've been advised against the 'Far-eastern' machines before! Anyone else with any ideas? a decent machine for under 200 quid (preferably with DMX) and remote?
Adam Brinkworth
http://www.discostudio.co.uk/item.php?upn=...p;affid=froogle Looks good. You may be able to find a different supplier though, I have seen it cheaper. HTH
slx02
Hi you may want to consider a Jem ZR12 DMX these are very similar to the Techno Fog. The Techno Fog has been replaced by the Magnuim 800 which you can get a DMX interface for. Try Stage Electrics - Birmingham
David A
While I am a dealer for Antari and Jem, the reliability of the Acme foggers has been exceptional, with the other gear you clean it out and look after it but always gives problems but the old Acme just sit on the shelf, go out fill up back on the shelf, never cleaned one in 6 years and never had the slightest problem. If they are available in the UK that is my reccomendation.
