r_keates Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Hi All, Hoping someone can point me in the right direction - one of our CDJ1000's at work have packed up tonight - basically the play button decided it wasnt going to do anything anymore! As you can imagine, much panic and swearing from the DJ and me running off to get my tools ensued! I've traced it to a lifted pad and broken track on the PCB that contains the Play/Pause, Cue, Scan Fwd/Scan Back, Track Fwd and Track Back buttons. I bypassed the dodgy track by soldering on a bit of wire for tonight, but it's still not 100%, so I really need to get a replacement PCB pronto. The only markings are "KSWB" on the side where the buttons and LEDs are mounted, and HCI40HI on the soldered side, next to an "LF" in a square box. Can anyone suggest where I can source one of these ASAP? I'm in South East London/North Kent (Dartford area) is that helps. Thanks very much guys, Rob  PS Happy New YearPPS Thank god it didn't die on New Year's Eve!!!
wako_jacko Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 you might be able to find a similar part from maplins, cpc etc, if you can't find the correct part for the mk2- although have you tried pioneer or an approved pioneer repair shop, they would probobly have one as they are still being made and quite popular, w.
jayselway Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 Might be worth giving AudioLabs a call, they're in Leeds, but often have Prioneer Boards in and around. 0113 2440378
gnomatron Posted January 5, 2007 Posted January 5, 2007 go to your local dj shop, or better yet to the place you bought them from. we've sent our 800s back to the place we bought 'em from whenever they needed looking at. (which has been much more often than I'd like, I have to say)
