Which is better; Futurelight or Showtec?

If you know how to service moving lights, most of the problems are usually minor, if any. The last problem I had with a cheap head (Geni) was a colour wheel sensor out of position. Recently got the Showtec explorer 250's and have been very happy with them. just gonna have to wait and see for the lifespan aspect. What do you plan on doing with your rig?

I will probably buy ROBE scan`s 575 xt about 8 pieces , ROBE have good support and reputation in Croatia.

What about MOVINGHEAD?? My choose is SHOWTEC EXPLORER 575 8 pieces( It`s have a good support in Croatia) and ROBE CLUBSPOT 600 ct 3 pieces.

I had chance to try explorer`s 575 at the same time with used MAC500 and I had`t seen drastically difference.

even explorer 575 had a brighter beam.

That is my personal conclusion!! ;) (maybe mac`s need service but that I had seen).

I would say that was a good decision.
