pete10uk Posted December 17, 2011 Posted December 17, 2011 A very relevant post 4.5 years on. I'm currently looking for a good system of this kind of sound and I would have been disappointed if It didn’t get some recent comments. Thank you. On the quality note, I have seen some of the T4 stuff and the build quality isn't something of concern, I have a radar for poor workman ship and it didn't get triggered. I've not yet heard the system properly but all I good time. Cheers

Mods isnt there a rule about this?

david.elsbury Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Good try, ProtecAV, perhaps less of the huge quotes and just type what you want to say, as it appears you have forgotten to do so... ;)
ProtecAV Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Whatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt? Who me? It would be pointless attempting to sell things on here. I would be asking to have my knuckles rapped.. The chap was asking for opinions wasn't he? Therefore, my tuppence................. Good try, ProtecAV, perhaps less of the huge quotes and just type what you want to say, as it appears you have forgotten to do so... ;) Whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt? I have typed what I want to say. I have no hidden agenda
david.elsbury Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Right, however as you sell the product in question, it is considered good practice/ good manners to declare that you have a commercial interest in the product. There's nothing wrong with posting a link, if you do think that it is a suitable product for someone's needs - however if you do so without disclosing that you also sell it, then it seems much more underhanded. From the Site Terms and Conditions ( that you agreed to when you signed up)In the non-commercial forums, members may direct users to their company, or post regarding their products in certain situations, these include: - Technical support, when another user has posted a question about their product - Assistance with locating a specific product, when a user has specifically requested information on that product - Rebutting or commenting on criticisms/compliments on your companies products or services, as long as your views are backed up with suitable points (you should not just post ‘our products are great so there’) - Post information about updates to your product to the ‘software release forum’ following the appropriate guidelines - Make appropriate use of the other ‘commercial’ areas of the site. - Use the 'Training and Qualifications' forum to post information on free training events for your products or services Members should specifically not use the forum to post the following types of reference to their products (note that these are guidelines only and the Blue Room reserves the right to refuse posts other than these if deemed appropriate) - Start a thread purely to discuss the benefits or availability of a new product (users should consider the ‘Commercial Announcements’ area for this purpose - Start a thread to complain about a competitors products or services, or engage in a ‘Slanging Match’ about your or another companies products or services - Post irrelevant information about your products or services in an existing thread EDIT TO ADD: Whattttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt? I have typed what I want to say. I have no hidden agendaPost 19 in this thread, you quoted the posts above you and didn't put anything of your own in there. Also, there seems to be a problem with the "t" key on your keyboard, may I suggest purchasing a new one forthwith to avoid the embarrassing over-usage of the letter "t"... ;)
ProtecAV Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Ok I take it all back. Colin, are you listening? Citronic CLA system? Thats the 1 to go for! Ok gotcha
david.elsbury Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Go right ahead, Rod. If you wish to be childish about the whole thing then that's your right, but don't expect anyone else on the forum to take you seriously. Or take your business seriously. Just sayin'. David
Ynot Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 Bah Humbug! Lighten up please DavidHmmm...I'd suggest that as a newcomer, you might want to take some time to browse and gauge the mood of the regulars, many of whom are full time professionals and may at some stage wish to look for suppliers. Sad to say that your opening gambit as a new boy has not endeared you to many here. So whist attempting to be jovial and subtle (for want of a better word) what you actually appear to be is cocky and rude. There are a number of suppliers who have BR membership, and the majority manage very well gaining business from others on the board, but they are up front and honest about their situation, follow the rules, and do well. Just MY tuppence.
slim_mcslim Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 To add my twopenneth on the DVA line array, it is fairly cheap, it is pretty well made, it is robust, it sounds not bad but do I own any ? when we auditioned it, it seemed to be nearly as loud, behind the stack as it did in front, which for a directional system wasn't quite right... part of me wishes that we did own some, but it wouldn't be suitable for a number of things. paul...
