burgesg Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 I was recently trying to capture some film from my 4 year old sony micromv. It was the first time I had tried to capture any video from the camera. Sadly, the only program I have is Microsoft Move Maker but this did not allow me to capture film from the camera. Does anyone know why? I checked to see what I had kept with the manual of the camera and found a disk for Movie Shaker and so I installed it. Having installed it I could then not use it until I installed Quicktime. Finally, having done all this, I tried capturing some film on Movie Shaker which worked but then said there was an error (which then occured every time I clicked the 'Stop Capturing' button). Then I tried importing the little video I had from Movie Shaker onto Windows Movie Maker which again didn't work becasue it was in the format Quicktime uses. Someone please help me, I now have no idea what to do. My aim is to get footage from my Sony MicroMV Camera onto Winows Movie Maker. How can I do this and what went wrong before? (Please remember I am a beginner.)
