Jamtastic3
I've just been watching Top Of The Pops 2 (I do like the vintage footage, never mind the cheesy songs) Though they seem to throw in new recorded footage of songs not out yet; in this case Emma Bunton's Children in Need song, recorded this month. Have the BBC kept TOTP's studio and staging and will now use it to record for TOTP2? I don't understand how they manage to get an audience plus still have all the same staging, lighting and sets from the now defunct TOTP just to show one song from an artist for TOTP2. (bring back TOTP! :()
marky
Yep, they have kept the set and have a studio day (or two!) every 6 weeks, then the performances are dropped into TOTP2. They also need something to sell to the rest of the world!
